Natural Deodorant That Really Works

Natural Deodorant That Really Works

What's the difference between a natural deodorant and an antiperspirant?

Although often used interchangeably, they are two entirely different products. A natural deodorant has been designed to combat any smells and to leave you feeling and smelling fresh, whereas an antiperspirant uses aluminium salts to clog the pores and directly stop you sweating.

Why should you use a natural deodorant?

Simply put, sweating is a natural function of the body, as it helps our body to self-regulate temperature. The act of it isn't a bad thing by any means, and natural deodorants are specifically designed to help combat any odour. Sweating is good! Our top tip if you have a fear of sweating? Toss your favourite deodorant in your bag to have a midday touch-up. Whilst aluminium in antiperspirants has also been historically linked to Alzheimer's and Breast Cancer, current research suggests that there is not enough evidence to link the two together. At Persephone Beauty, we absolutely do not believe in scaremongering - we simply offer products that we think work best with your body and skin's natural function.

How does it work?

The Elsa's Natural Deodorant crème uses three key ingredients to ensure that your underarms stay fresh all day...

Organic coconut oil has anti-microbial properties for the skin

Arrowroot powder keeps underarms dry and fresh

Himalayan pink salt neutralises any odour

Each scent also contains its own blend of essential oils, which work hard to combat any scent that your sweat might create - whether that's zesty clementine, uplifting lemon or refreshing peppermint.
